About Us

African Growers and Producers Alliance (AGAPA) is a black-led non-profit organization based in Minnesota. AGAPA is a coalition of seasoned and emerging farmers of African descent and their families who call Minnesota their home away from home.

Our Projects

AGAPA advocates for emerging and future farmers to access farming resources, a top priority. Black farmers face structural barriers in farming, including racism and fighting for farming resources will help produce healthy food for all and culturally relevant foods and livelihood for the African communities,  now and into the future.
