African Growers and Producers Alliance (AGAPA) is a black-led non-profit organisation based in Minnesota. AGAPA is a coalition of seasoned and emerging farmers of African descent and their families who call Minnesota their home away from home. We work to strengthen Farmer’s collective power.  We are committed to sustainable farming by tapping into our traditional cultural knowledge and wisdom and modern research to grow produce to feed our families and communities while preserving the environment. We advocate for emerging and future farmers to access resources that help them produce healthy food and livelihood that builds a farming community that continues to future generations.
